Stepscale was founded by Shary Mudassir and Alex Brandimarte, two seasoned AI builders with ties to real estate and a proven track record of delivering real results with technology.

Shary began his finance career as a Real Estate Investment Banking Associate at RBC, advising on complex developments, acquisitions, and financings. He later spent over a decade leading AI and automation at RBC across trading, risk, and operations, building enterprise systems that ran on trust, precision, and scale.

Alex comes from a family background in real estate construction and has led engineering teams across enterprise platforms, designing secure, high-performance systems for critical business workflows.

Together, they’ve shipped dozens of AI-powered products, worked hands-on with operators, and built tools that remove bottlenecks from document-heavy, high-volume processes. With Stepscale, they’re bringing this experience back to where it started — real estate.
